It's balanced by your choices of characters and what you equip them on each run of the dungeon. Some in game items are overpriced but they all cost more or less the same with actual money. For example, the "speed up dungeons" thing you can buy costs 50 million in game gold, or 1.99. Nothing really goes any higher than 2 bucks.You can choose between playing like an RPG or letting the game auto battle. Sometimes its beneficial to do it yourself to make better choices. It's a great balance between idle and actual game. All i can say is, give it a try, and get to at least level 100 in game. Monthly update, December: final touches before Early Access: 2018 was a huge year for us. In January we started the first town of the game. And in December we're putting on the final touches before we head into Early Access next month.One of our concerns was that the Shadowlands didn't feel otherworldly enough and we've been thinking of ways to fix that. Now, only your recipes are visible. Select a recipe, and all the ingredients get autofilled. If you don't have enough of something, it shows up a little transparent. Hopefully this will make crafting quicker and easier for you.Flanking in combat. If you attack an enemy lance from one of the 3 rear hexes, and you have one of your lances in front of and facing the enemy, you get a flanking bonus of 25% to all attack powers.. Patch notes 7 April 2019: Sorry for the lack of updates over the last couple of days. I got stuck trying to implement Steam input, which would allow you to play the game with any controller. Due to some unforeseen complications with the ancient UE3 source code and the new Steamworks SDK, I'm going to shelve controller support for right now. I'll revisit the issue in the future and I'll have some other people take a look at the code for me too.But for today's update, you can now rearrange your army from the pause menu. Just click and drag your characters to put them in any order you want.If I can add anything else today, I'll come back and edit this post.Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention this earlier. We also fixed the issue where if you talk to a vendor while holding down a movement button, you would keep walking that direction after closing the vendor window. It was because the game didn't register the key-up when the vendor window opens, so it thought the key was still down when the window closed. We now force a key-up when you talk to a vendor, so movement goes back to normal after talking to a vendor. This also fixed the issue where you would sometimes have to press the spacebar twice to interact with things.
